1. Scope of Service
Cape Data Recovery provides file-level data recovery and media repair services based on the device and case details provided by the client.
2. Free Diagnosis
Diagnosis is free. Any paid work starts only after a quote is approved by you.
3. No Recovery, No Fee
If no usable data is recovered for the agreed service, no recovery fee is charged.
4. Data Handling and Privacy
All recovery work is performed offline. Client data is handled privately and processed in line with POPIA principles.
5. Client Responsibilities
- Provide accurate case details and device history.
- Do not continue writing new data to the affected device where possible.
- Confirm recovered data promptly when requested.
6. Turnaround Times
Turnaround time varies by device condition, file system state, and workload. Timelines provided are estimates, not guarantees.
7. Limitation of Liability
While all reasonable care is taken, data recovery is a best-effort technical process. Cape Data Recovery is not liable for indirect, consequential, or business losses resulting from unrecoverable data.
